The ethereal feeling of watercolours. So soft and gentle. Simple and yet complex in the brush strokes. I am rediscovering watercolours in all its glory. I used to get terribly irritated with the unwanted bleeding of colours, or the bending of the paper. But it turns out it was me, not watercolours! You need really good paper. And you also need a lot of patience with this medium. I am finding it quite a challenge, but a welcomed one. It is very Zen when you wait and you see the shine of water vanishing from the surface of the paper. One stroke at a time.
So, here is my new obsession. A bit abstract, not too much fuzz. Taking inspiration from the spring happening outside.
