A warm bit of weaving

It’s cold and at this time of the year I love getting my loom out and spend some time weaving a few warm scarves for the family.

I have loads of wool from my times as a textile artist. Felting was the centre of it. But dyeing and spinning wool, silk, hemp, linen, etc, too.

I have these great shades of rust, mustard and golden colors I dyed years ago with plants, and I really wanted to used them.

So here is the first one. I had to remember a bit how it works, this weaving thing. It had been a while. And sometimes you have to think twice about the logistics. But it worked! I made it and I have a warm wooly, silky scarf to show for it.
