I started playing more and more with gouache and watercolors. And I realized that there is a super large spectrum of colors that can be achieved with a few colors. The nuances are much more observable than when mixing acrylics.
I started out with 4 colors: Sienna, carnation, mauve and rouge anglais. With a bit of water and slowly mixing and diluting; there were dozens of colors to be found. 
So then now I am on the way to paint some flowers!
